6th Anniversary Pedal

KarDiaN, a pedal brand born in 2017, is now celebrating its 6th anniversary. This year, we will produce a pedal named after the number "6," which is the number of the anniversary. What comes to mind when you think of the number "6"?

Of course, there is only Fender's legendary "Magic 6" setting.

So, to commemorate "KarDiaN 6th Anniversary," we have created a Magic 6 sound pedal in City Night coloring. KarDiaN originally released the "Nitroglycerin" sound pedal, which was developed using the Fender Champ as a reference. This time, based on this, we produced the original design "Nitroglycerin M6" by interpreting the actual "Fender Super Reverb" made in 1964, which is commonly called "Pre-CBS" owned by Mr. Toshikazu. The Nitroglycerin M6 expresses everything from the three-dimensional, glossy clean sound of a vintage Super Reverb to the concentrated drive sound produced by the full original four speakers.

The "Nitroglycerin M6", produced in honor of the 6th anniversary, will be released in a limited edition of 300 units worldwide.

"Nitroglycerin M6" has been specially designed from the parts. In particular, we were able to secure 300 units of "SoZo NexGen Blue Molded," a faithful reproduction of the Ajax Blue Molded used in the actual model, and it is no exaggeration to say that this was the catalyst for making this pedal. The operational amplifier is also an Analog Devices OP275, a JFET-based amp that provides a sonic effect similar to a tube texture.

The new design also takes on a new challenge in the paint job, with three splashes of color to create a neon nighttime urban look. The gold accents give the design a more luxurious look. The legendary settings of the "1964's Fender Super Reverb Pre-CBS," which was used as a reference for this project, are firmly engraved on the "Nitroglycerin M6.
